Operations Support Representative

Description: Pioneer Athletics seeks a full-time Operations Support Representative.

Pioneer Manufacturing Company, Inc. is looking for a highly motivated candidate to serve as an operations support person at its manufacturing plant located on the West Side of Cleveland. In this role, you will perform various administrative tasks to ensure our customers’ orders are processed and billed timely and accurately while working with our sales, customer service, warehouse, purchasing and logistics teams. We are looking for someone with previous experience in processing orders or billing, but will train the right candidate. Must have excellent communication and organizational skills.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 months experience in an office setting

Purchasing Agent

Location: Cleveland, OH

Description: Pioneer Athletics seeks a full-time Purchasing Agent.

The purpose of the Purchasing Agent is to assist the Purchasing department, ensuring that processes run smoothly and that all company and customer needs are met. This includes the purchase of finished goods, raw materias, services, as well as sourcing of new products and maintaining vendor relationships. The role is pivotal in ensuring efficiency, productivity, and alignment with the company's strategic goals. This includes expediting, reviewing vendor and inventory reports, working with vendors on pricing, lead times, freight terms and maintaining standardized business inventory levels.

Requirements

  • Communicate with all team members on a daily basis through coaching, educating or providing feedback
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field required
  • Minimum of 1 year experience

Key Constituents:

    Warehouse Team:

  • Provide the optimal balance of inventory to ensure proper timing of key items to ensure timely delivery to the customer
  • Work with Warehouse management to ensure that inventory levels, packaging needs and any equipment needs are optimal
  • Sales Team:

  • Help guide team members to solutions that will provide customer satisfaction and high accuracy for shipments
  • Coach Sales team on products by being an advocate for their success through successful product lines
  • Provide timely responses to product questions, order status or tracking information
  • Material and Productions Planner:

  • Ensure Production team needs are meet and inline with production schedule
  • Customer Service:

  • Coach, train and support the needs of product knowledge and applications
  • Help provide any additional tools for the achieving high level of customer service

Licenses Or Certificates:

Responsibilities:

  • Communicates with all departments and sales representatives on a daily basis through the use of written correspondence, e-mails and phone conversations
  • Buys goods and services for the company to use in production, stock or drop shipped to end user
  • Use Excel skills to manipulate data, create pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc using data exported from Acumatica ERP
  • Works closely with the receiving department to ensure goods are received in good condition and in correct volume
  • Assists in physical inventory
  • Researches inventory levels and stays current on any changes in either the supply of, or demand for, needed products and materials
  • Reviews vendor and inventory reports to monitor stock and processes drop ship orders from vendors whenever needed
  • Works with vendors on pricing, lead times, freight terms, private-label merchandise, certificates of insurance, SDS and technical material sheets when needed
  • Determine quantity and timing of deliveries
  • Identify stock needs to ensure delivery in a timely fashion to our customers

Warehouse Shipping Associate

Location: Cleveland OH

Description: Pioneer Athletics seeks a full-time Warehouse Shipping Associate.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • Warehouse shipping experience preferred but not required. Training will be provided
  • Tow motor experience strongly preferred but not required. Training and certification will be provided
  • Experience with Acumatica and Banyan is preferred, but not required

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize Acumatica and Banyan to process orders
  • Pick ordered items from warehouse shelves and bring them to the dock area for loading and transport
  • Palletize, label and shrink wrap items for shipping via common carrier
  • Load trailers efficiently

Supportive Functions:

In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the particular requirements of the company.

  • Utilize Acumatica and Banyan to process the pick list for customer orders
  • Package and label items for shipping via UPS and FedEx (ground and air shipment)
  • Collaborate with co-workers and managers to solve work-related problems
  • Review work throughout the work process and at completion, in order to ensure that it has been performed properly
  • Transmit and explain work orders
  • Check specifications of materials loaded and unloaded against information contained in work orders
  • Inform co-workers or department heads of items loaded, and problems encountered
  • Examine freight to determine loading sequences
  • Prepare and maintain work records and reports that include information such as employee time and wages, daily receipts and inspection results

Specific Job Knowledge, Skill and Ability:

The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Customer Service
