Description: Pioneer Athletics seeks a full-time, highly motivated, entry-level candidate to join our Customer Service team at our office located on the West Side of Cleveland. The candidate we’re seeking will have strong communication skills, be a problem solver, and possess a solid work ethic and organizational skills to create an exceptional customer experience.

Requirements

  • 6 months – 1 yr. experience in customer service or call center
  • Ability to handle high volume of calls
  • Strong listening skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to communicate in written and spoken English
  • High School or equivalent (required); some college preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Take inbound sales calls and consult with customers regarding products and services
  • Make outbound promotional calls to existing and potential customers with the purpose of making a sale
  • Increase business by generating new product interest and cross-selling to current and potential customers

Warehouse Position – Small Package Handling

Location: Cleveland, OH

Description: Pioneer Athletics seeks a full-time Warehouse Associate to work in the shipping department at our manufacturing plant located on the West Side of Cleveland

Located in Cleveland, Ohio, Pioneer designs and manufactures a wide range of innovative products for the field of sports.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to lift 70+ pounds
  • Experience operating tow motor or cherry picker or ability to become certified
  • Ability to communicate in written and spoken English
  • Good punctuality and attendance

Responsibilities:

  • Pick ordered items from warehouse shelves
  • Operate label printing stations for UPS and FedX
  • Box and secure items for shipping in accordance with directions
  • Double checking order to ensure there are no mis-ships
  • Observes safety and security procedures, uses equipment and material properly, wears appropriate PPE and reports unsafe conditions.
  • Palletize, label and shrink wrap items for shipping in accordance with directions
  • Load trailers in an efficient manner
  • Call truck lines using pick-up instructions
  • Review work throughout the work process and at completion, in order to ensure that it has been performed properly
  • Transmit and explain work orders
  • Check specifications of materials loaded and unloaded against information contained in work orders
  • Examine freight to determine loading sequences
  • Prepare and maintain work records and reports

  • Work with Athletic Directors, Coaches, Trainers, Sports Stadium Managers, Groundskeepers & Sports Turf Managers, Parks & Recreation Directors, and Building & Grounds Maintenance Supervisors as they make important decisions regarding their Athletic Fields and Athletic Facilities.
  • Work closely with our Sales Management Team in a professional, structured and disciplined consultative sales training & product training program.
  • Work closely with a mentor and a Professional Sales & Product Training Staff in a Stable, Personalized and Structured Environment.

Description of Positions

Field Sales Department

Field Sales Representatives are responsible for the sales activity between the customer, possible prospects and existing customers in their assigned territories. The Field Representative is responsible for carrying out the policies and objectives of Pioneer, as well as, the specific profit objectives assigned by management. EOE

Inside Sales Department

This highly visible position responds to our customers' needs over the telephone. Acceptable telephone performance is required for success in this position. Order Processing/Administrative Support

This position receives and processes incoming orders for industrial and athletics merchandise for our customer base located throughout the America, Europe and Asia. Duties also include processing and verifying customers' orders all the way through shipping directives. Customer Service

This position requires telephone interaction with existing and potential customers providing responses to inquires about our products and services. Purchasing Agent/Buyer

This position sources athletic goods, services and equipment for Pioneer. Expediting, reviewing vendor and inventory reports, working with vendors on pricing, lead times, freight terms and maintaining standardized business inventory levels are some of the main duties.
