UVC sanitizer for synthetic turf
The GreenZapr disinfects synthetic turf surfaces with powerful germicidal UVC lights
- Enables athletic facility managers to easily treat surfaces when risks are at their highest
- Powerful germicidal UVC destroys 99.9% of harmful micro-organisms including MRSA, HIV, and influenza through DNA destruction
- UVC can only kill what it sees. A standard 3-pass treatment is recommended using the spring tine rake to disrupt the surface, exposing greater amounts of infill to be sanitized
- Contains 2 – 8 UVC light modules w/LED indicators (16 total bulbs)
- Includes an hour meter reader (bulb changes recommended after every 3,000 hours of use)
- UVC is not harmful to the environment and is a non-irritant
- Provides the most efficient, cost-effective sanitation method available in the industry
- High-quality powder coat with pre-wash including de-greaser and anti-rust coating
- For the most effective on-going maintenance program use the GreensGroomer Synthetic Sports Turf Groomer, Spring Tine Rake, LitterKat, and the GreenZapr UVC Surface Sanitizer
- Two models available: One with reliable on-board 1000-watt Honda gas generator and another with 4 deep-cycle, rechargeable, gel-cell batteries with 1000-watt inverter/charger
UVC disinfectant technology is now the primary solution when combating micro-organisms in environments with high-contact surfaces that are prime areas for the spread of harmful pathogens.
- UV light disinfection is a physical process that disrupts the DNA of harmful microorganisms and destroys their ability to reproduce
- Works to destroy viruses and bacteria such as Hepatitis, HIV, influenza, MRSA, C-Diff, and Staph
- Helps eliminate microbes on surfaces such as sweat, mucus, saliva, and blood that can survive and grow in athletic environments
- UVC is ideal for indoor sporting facilities or outdoor synthetic turf (see the MiniZapr for surfaces other than synthetic turf)
- Provides the ability to have an easy, continual sanitation strategy
- UVC is not harmful to the environment and is a non-irritant
- Most cost-effective sanitation method available in the industry
