We invited Ryan Bjorn back to our Groundskeeper Chat series during the SFMA conference in Daytona Beach. Bjorn recapped his SFMA session "The Future of Sports Turf". Meg, Weston and Chris caught up with Bjorn and asked him about the future changes in his own organization and the industry as a whole.

Here's what you'll hear in this week's Groundskeeper Chat:

  • Catch up with Ryan Bjorn
  • Building relationships with coaches, players and staff
  • What's at the core of Bjorn's motivation as a field superintendent?
  • Session recap "The Future of Sports Turf"
  • Lastly, Weston's Weather Report!

A little bit more about our guest:

Ryan Bjorn is the Field Superintendent at Gillette Stadium and training facilities for NE Patriots/Revolution. Ryan is Maine born and raised and a UMass Alumni. He enjoys getting away from the job by visiting family in southern Maine and spending time with his wife Alexis, dog Boyd and cat Larry!
