Field of Excellence Club
What's your field's story?
Every athletic field has a story to tell. It may be the great rivalry game twenty years ago. Maybe it was the year the conference championships were hosted on it. Or, maybe it’s the care given to it by dedicated professionals or volunteers throughout a year.
At Pioneer Athletics we are proud to salute the men and women who work hard to make game day a special day by producing an exceptional field of play.
Here are some highlights from a few of our Field of Excellence winners last year.
What makes your field special? Apply today and tell us why you have a Field of Excellence!
- City of Chesterfield - Chesterfield, Missouri
“It sounds silly to say that by just adding some paint to a field creates some kind of a home field advantage, but if you ask the players, coaches, and fans, it really does.”
- City of West Sacramento - West Sacramento, California
“One of the main reasons the crew is capable of meeting the high standard at Bryte Park is the pride and passion for their work, and the acknowledgement the crew receives from users about how beautiful and well manicured the fields look.”
- Constantine Public Schools - Constantine, Michigan
“For a regional playoff game, the kids wanted something special painted. I told them I would do something that had never been done in Constantine. It took me 51 hours to paint the field.”
- Fayetteville Junior High School - Fayetteville, Tennessee
“Everything that is done at our school system is done first class. Our football field is one of the show pieces of our community. Our coaches take care of the field and they do a great job.”
- Galva-Holstein Community School District - Holstein, Iowa
“We could just paint the necessary lines, but we feel that our school, our team, and community deserve a little extra.”
- Lebanon High School - Lebanon, Indiana
“Over 400 athletic events take place on our fields throughout the year. The amount of wear and tear our student athletes and community youth organizations place on the fields makes you wonder why we are not playing on dirt. The reason is simple; the Lebanon Field Maintenance Crew takes a tremendous amount of pride in maintaining the fields.”
- Minerva High School - Minerva, Ohio
“Minerva is a football town with deep tradition dating back to 1909. Comments of high regard and esteem about our field have encapsulated this rich football history and has led the field crew in creating a picturesque scene on grass at Hines Stadium year after year.”
- Olmsted Falls City School District - Olmsted Falls, Ohio
“The community members love seeing the natural green grass and the brightly painted football field. The field gives our event ‘life’.”
- Reed Point School - Reed Point, Montana
“A wild fire struck the area and subsequent rain caused the field to be covered with a foot of silt. With the season in full swing, the community worked together and cleaned the silt from the field, as well as having to re-sod some areas of the field. Due to the community’s efforts, no games were cancelled.”
