Take temperature of field to ensure ideal conditions for removing GameLine So we're going to go ahead and show you right now how to remove GameLine blue and white Removable Synthetic Turf Paint.

First step is really you're going to test your field for temperature.

Want to make sure that when we're removing the product, that the field is not too warm. We want to make sure we're doing it in the coolest part of the day. We recommend getting on the field between 5 and 6am and trying to be off by 11am.

Blitz GameLine Remover Solution The product that we're going to use to remove it; Blitz product. Does a great job. Simply going to take Blitz, pop it open, pull up the Rieke, pour it into some form of a backpack sprayer. You know, we typically use a backpack sprayer if we were taking off a field, like a lacrosse field. In this situation, we're going to take off lines, so we'll go ahead and just use a pump-up sprayer.

The other piece of equipment is the Blitz walk-behind machine. You can see that, simple machine, you're gonna turn it on right here, on/off. Pull it to start. This brush is going to be used to agitate the solution. The Blitz solution will sit on the blade for anywhere from 30 seconds to a minute. What we're going to do is agitate it with the brush. We're not going to grind it, we just want to agitate it. Then we'll come behind with the hose and hit it.

Blitz Walk-Behind Remover Machine agitates the Blitz Remover Solution This is going to adjust the height of the brush. Obviously forward is going to put it down lower and you're going to grind it. We're going to put it right in the middle so we're agitating it.

We're going to go ahead and apply a generous amount of the Blitz Remover Solution. George is going to let it sit for a few minutes. I'm never going to work any more than five yards ahead of him. Even in cooler weather like this, we don't want any evaporation. We don't want to waste the product. Both the paint and the remover solution are environmentally friendly, so there's no issues with run-off.

Blitz Remover Solution applied with a pump sprayer One thing we always want to recommend, too, is before you paint a field, make sure the field is groomed. And then after the removal process, you can see how rubber is going to get displaced. Make sure that you have committed the time, and that everybody in the organization and at the facility is aware that after you do remove paint, you're going to go ahead and groom the field to take any rubber that is displaced and move it around.

Again, we're going to put down the Blitz Remover Solution. Stay only about five yards ahead of him. The field is really heating up today. You can see I got my sunglasses on, shadows are everywhere. The field was about 75 degrees at 8:30. It's a little bit later now, but...

Just about took that one off totally.

Rinse line away using fan pattern with the water to help eliminate ghosting You notice the water pattern isn't I'm hammering it. It's sort of a little bit of a fan pattern - so that we're rinsing it down in the areas outside of the line as well. It's going to help eliminate ghosting outside the 4-inch line.
