TD Bank’s ‘Beach to Beacon 10k’ is aiming to build on its reputation as one of the most environmentally friendly road races. Pioneer is proud to know that, for the second year, our EPA-approved Brite Stripe Ultra-Friendly paint will be used to paint the start and finish lines. In addition to our VOC-free paint, which is the first and only to receive EPA recognition, the TD Bank Beach to Beacon 10k’s ‘Green Team’ will assist in making sure as much waste used in the even makes its way to recycling facilities rather than landfills. According to Race President Dave Weatherbie, the “environmental program continues to expand and get stronger each year, which is really a reflection of our commitment to this responsibility and the strong team effort between Fairchild and Athletes for a Fit Planet”.
